The Webb City Historical Society will meet on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at 6:30pm, at the Clubhouse.
Guest speaker Kay Hively will tell about the Newtonia Battlefields Association and their efforts to perserve the sites of 2 civil war battles, as well as the Ritchie Homestead and museum. The organization commemorates 150 years this month.
Everyone is welcome.
Refreshments will be served.
There will be a short business meeting.

The Webb City Historical Society held an Ice Cream Social and membership drive, hosted by Bob and Frances Nichols, on Sunday, June 24, 2012. Over 50 people were in attendance. Rob Pommert entertained on Guitar, and Tom and Mary Hamsher lead tours through the Minerva Candy Store that is currently under renovations. More photos of the event are posted in the photo tab above.

The Historical Society will hold an Ice Cream Social and Membership Drive event on Sunday, June 24 at 7:00pm.
The public is welcome to visit the Courtyard at the Middlewest Building, 1 Main Street, for ice cream, lemonade and visiting with members of the Webb City Historical Society. There will be music and maybe an activity.
Membership is $10 per individual and $15 per family.
This event is free.

The Annual Meeting of the Webb City Historical Society has been scheduled for Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at 5:30pm. The meeting will take place at the Clubhouse and the agenda will include election of club officers for 2012-2013.
Membership dues are also payable NOW.
